The hotel is a bit dated, but it works perfectly well—whether for an overnight stay before an early flight (only 10 minutes from the airport by shuttle, with shuttles every 30 minutes, which is ideal when your flight departs very early), or for visiting the city, as it is right next to a metro station. There is also a large shopping mall nearby. With the cold weather at the moment, I especially appreciated the kindness of the front desk staff, who spontaneously offered me an available room even though check-in time had not yet started.

The rooms are showing their age but are still well appointed. Beds are comfy, the showers are hot, and the staff is nice. Good spot to stay a night before an early flight out of National.

This location is close enough to downtown DC but far enough away to be almost a resort. Close enough to some of the best local restaurants. Staff at Crowne Plaza is amazing! Kind, courteous, and truly fun. You need to stay where service is exemplary the amenities wonderful, and location is ease of access to trains, planes and Ubers!!

We're in town for a marathon and this hotel was on the suggested hotels list. Turned out its a great location for tourists. It's quiet! The staff is friendly! There's a free shuttle to RR Airport. A new Whole Foods grocery store just opened on Crystal Drive across 15th St (behind the hotel). Lots of tasty and healthy snacks. Two doors down, there's a CVS that's convenient for the things you forgot. After that, there's a movie theater. Past there, lots of restaurants! In a different direction, its a short was to the Crystal City Metro station. We've enjoyed our stay.

We have received a warm welcome from Mr Abdullah and his PR was excellent. He helped us to locate attractive places and public transport. Your hotel is lucky to have a staff member like Mr Abdullah.

So would have gotten 5 stars, but hey I have my dislikes. lol. No soap in the shower, the mirror door is broken, and it is $24 dollars for breakfast. Continental breakfast at that! Housekeeping is on point. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars then I would, but 5 is too high. lol I will say they stay is comfortable and the heat works.

I was skeptical at first because American airlines put us up in this hotel for the night due to a flight cancellation and I had never dealt with an overnight delay like this. They had emailed me a security code which I used at check in and the process went very smoothly. The staff was very nice. They do offer a shuttle to the airport that runs every 30 min beginning at 430am. The room itself looks dated. The desk was broken, the lamp beside the bed that has the plug in did not work, the frame around the bathroom door and hall door had rust spots however.... The bed and pillows were super comfy and the shower had great water pressure. So the other things didn't seem as important since I was there to sleep.

The location and price are excellent for this hotel. Added bonuses are that there is parking and a starbucks in the hotel. The hotel itself is a bit dated and the elevators have seen better days, but the staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. I wouldn't mind some better toiletries in the bathroom, but for the price it is great. Rooms include a mini fridge, refrigerator coffee, desk, an iron, and hair dryer. The bed was pretty cozy too - just bring your own blanket if you would like a thicker comforter.
